You will be asked to copy the text of your abstract into the form (optional if you are not planning on presenting) and for an estimate of your travel costs in $US, along with the % being requested from WIMS. You will also be asked to participate in the Women’s events at the conference, to acknowledge the Travel Grant in your professional communications at the conference and to write a short summary of the event and its impact on your knowledge and career for future news items and reports.  

The deadline for submission of your self-nomination is October 30, 2025, coincident with the date when abstract submissions close. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of the selection process by mid December, before abstract acceptances are finalized (January 15th 2026) and before the draft papers are due (March 15, 2026).
